Awareness campaign launched against use of tobacco

QUETTA: An awareness campaign has been launched on ill effects of tobacco by the Tobacco Control Cell Balochistan in different educational institutions of the province.
According to the Coordinator of Tobacco Control Cell, the very objective behind launching the awareness campaign in educational institutions including schools and colleges is to create awareness about the harms of the tobacco among the students.
She said that around 400 people are dying due to the ill effects of tobacco and other related diseases caused through use of tobacco.
He said that the tobacco and its other by-products are equally injurious to health so everyone should avoid them.
