Private institutions’ candidates clinch
top three positions in Matric Exam

QUETTA: The Panjgur female students shined in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Annual Examination 2015 as three of them clinched top two positions among females in the examination conducted by the Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Quetta.
While a student of Maymar-e-Noe Public High School Panjgur namely Fatima Jamil stood first among the female candidates securing 905 marks, another student of the same school namely Sadia Ashraf daughter of Muhammad Ashraf shared second position with a student again from Panjgur but belonging to a different institution i.e., The Ideal Academy Panjgur namely Mah Noor Sattar daughter of Abdul Sattar. They obtained 902 marks each.
However, third position female went to a student belonging to Quetta namely Noor Fatima daughter of Abid Hussain. She secured 897 marks.
It is pertinent to mention here that all the four female students who secured top three positions of females belong to the private educational institutions.
This means no female candidate from the public sectors schools could be among the top position holders.
It may be mentioned here that the students of Balochistan Residential College (BRC) Loralai secured top three positions in the SSC examination.
Muhammad Qasim son of Muhammad Fazil was the top position holder with 964 marks. Kaleemullah son of Habibullah and Muhammad Adil Khan son of Yar Muhammad obtained second and third position by getting 962 and 958 marks.
While on the other hand, in Humanities Group, Younus son of Barkat Ali topped the SSC examination securing 837 marks.
Adil son of Musaddiq Ali got second and Gull Jan Saheba daughter of Muhammad Waris secured third position obtaining 819 and 809 marks.
Among male, Younus and Adil remained first and second, Nawaz Ahmed son of Niaz Ahmed got third position with 799 marks.
While among female, Gull Jan Saheba was first position holder, Naseema Bibi and Shabana remained second and third with 796 and 791 marks respectively.
It is also worth mentioning that all the position holders of Humanities Group belong to the private institutions.
