Up-gradation of Agri. Field Assistants hailed

QUETTA: The President of Agriculture Workers Union Balochistan, Muhammad Afzal Mengal and its other office bearers have hailed the up-gradation of the Agriculture Diploma Holder Field Assistants in Grade-11.
Addressing a press conference here at the Press Club, Afzal Mengal thanked the provincial government for issuance of orders regarding up-gradation of the Field Assistants. He said that the Field Assistants play important role in the agriculture sector.
He said that the posts of Field Assistants had already been upgraded in Punjab, Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhaw (KP), but it was not done in Balochistan. So, it is a welcoming now to see the post of Agriculture Field Assistants in the province upgraded as well, he said adding that the provincial government deserves appreciation in this regard. He particularly thanked the Provincial Minister for Food and Agriculture, Sardar Aslam Bizenjo, Chief Secretary Saifullah Chattha and Provincial Secretary for Agriculture, Abdul Rehman Buzdar for their efforts made in this regard.
He on the occasion also pleaded to take steps for putting the agriculture on modern lines in the province.
