Panel checking, double code marking system introduced in BISE

QUETTA: The system of panel checking and double code marking has been introduced in the Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Quetta.
This was stated by the Chairman BISE Quetta, Professor Saadullah Khan Tokhai while talking to the media here.
The Chairman BISE believed that the panel checking and double code marking system would help put an end to the chances of fraud in the results of the examinations.
He said that the present government and Education department has played an important role in elimination of cheating from examinations in collaboration with the civil society.
He said that certain measures are being taken to improve the existing education system further. He said that the admissions of the students would be sent ensuring their attendance in their classes. It is responsibility of the government and the education department to ensure attendance of the teachers and students in their respective schools and classes.
It is necessary for bringing improvement in the overall education, he maintained. Referring the cheating in examinations, the Chairman BISE said that the initiatives taken by the government are bearing fruits. He said that we would continue to take rather more stringent measures to improve things in future as well.
However, there is a dire need to make posting of the Principals and Headmasters on merit instead on the political basis.
