JUI leaders criticizes installation of barriers in city

QUETTA: The leaders of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) have criticized the installation of barriers in different parts of the metropolis.
In a statement issued here, the JUI leaders Maulana Wali Muhammad Turabi, Maulana Habibullah Mengal, Noor Gul Khilji, Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Madni and others charged that lawlessness has become a matter of routine. The silence of the rulers over the prevailing law and order situation proved that they have nothing to do with the interests of the masses and their safety.
They said that the installation of barriers at various locations also shows that the government and administration has failed to maintain law and order.
The people are being harassed in the name of checking, which is uncalled for, they maintained.
Meanwhile, the central leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) Senator Hafiz Hamdullah has said that the Balochistan has become an orphaned province just because of the incompetence of the government.
He said that no one is ready to raise voice for issues of the province. He charged that the provincial government wanted to deprive the province of the great project of western route as no funds have been allocated for it.
He also charged that the provincial government has harmed the interests of the province and its people.
