QUETTA: The leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Nazrayati (JUI-N), Syed Abdul Sattar Chishti has expressed his deep concern over the persistent water crisis in the metropolis.
In a statement issued here, he said that while different areas of the city including Barech Abad, Kotwal, Killi Umar, Nawan Killi and the adjacent areas are facing acute water shortage, the concerned WASA authorities seem oblivious from it.
He charged that the artificial shortage of water is also being created by some officials of the authority to give an edge to the private water tanker operators to force the dwellers to purchase water.
The JUI-N leader demanded of the provincial government especially the Minister WASA, Nawab Ayaz Khan Jogezai to take the issue serious and resolve it so that the people may not suffer.
