QUETTA: The 46th meeting of the Finance and Planning Committee of University of Balochistan (UoB) was held here the other day. The Vice Chancellor, Professor Dr. Javed Iqbal presided over the meeting.
Those who were in attendance were included: Registrar of UoB, Muhammad Tariq Jogezai, Professor Muhammad Anwar Panezai, Dr. Jan Muhammad, Additional Secretary Finance, Muhammad Khalid, Balaach Khan, Dr. Saeedu Rehman, Muhammad Fareed Khan, Treasure Jeeand Khan and other concerned.
The meeting discussed different matters including the financial matters of the University, its annual budget, promotion of the staff, new year academic programmes, development projects and other pending issues. Certain decisions were also made in the meeting.
Speaking on the occasion, the Vice Chancellor said that the University is determined to higher education resolving the basic issues of its employees despite the limited resources. He said that it is being ensured to impart quality education to the students.
