Dashti for inclusion of collective nature projects in annual budgets of LBs

QUETTA: The Commissioner Quetta Division, Kambar Dashti has called on the local bodies to include the collective nature development projects in the annual development programme so that the maximum population may benefit and that in a big way.
He was chairing a meeting of DCC here the other day. The divisional officers, chairman Municipal Committees and District Council attended the meeting.
The meeting discussed the matters pertaining to the development and non-development budget of the Municipal Committees and District Councils.
Speaking on the occasion, the Commissioner said that the collective nature projects may be included in the annual development budget. Moreover, the projects of health, education and water supply sectors should be given priority so that the basic issues of the masses may be resolved, he stressed.
The Commissioner also stressed the need to make monitoring of the development projects so as to ensure their timely completion with quality.
We have to provide the people maximum relief remaining in our resources and so the elected representatives, adding he stressed further.
He also asked the Municipal Committees and District Council to submit their budgets after approval so that the same may be sent to the provincial government for approval.
