QUETTA: A meeting was held to review the arrangements for the forthcoming polio immunization campaign to be launched in Balochistan.
Chief Secretary, Saifullah Chattha chaired the meeting. The Secretary Health and other concerned attended the meeting.
The meeting reviewed the arrangements made for the vital campaign scheduled to be launched in mid of September 2015 in the province.
It would be a national immunization days (NID) campaign being launched this time, it was told.
The Chief Secretary expressed his satisfaction over the strategy evolved by the Deputy Commissioners for the immunization campaign in the districts.
However, he stressed the need to make the campaign rather more effective.
The Chief Secretary on the occasion directed to include at least one female civil servant and a social mobilize in the anti-polio teams in the extremely sensitive union councils.
