BUJ to observe Day of Shuhada-e-Sahafat on August 28

QUETTA: Balochistan Union of Journalists (BUJ) has announced to observe the Martyred of Journalism Day on August 28, 2015.
According to a press release of the BUJ issued here, a condolence reference would be held under auspices of the BUJ after Jumma prayer at the Quetta Press Club.
The former General Secretary of BUJ, Irshad Mastoi and other martyred journalists would be paid rich tributes on their services for the cause of journalism in Balochistan.
Later, a rally would also be taken out the same day marking the Day. The BUJ press release mentioned that the BUJ would not be forgetting the sacrifices rendered by the media persons in line of duty.
It was also stated that no compromise would be made on the rights of media persons making a pledge that the struggle for the same cause would also remain continued in future.
