QUETTA Aug 21 (PPI): We have removed weapons from the hands of our children and gave them pen and book and put our youth on journey to love by ending hatred. We also enjoy support of the people of the province.
These views were expressed by Commander southern Command Lt General Nasser Khan Janjua at the inauguration of Boys Hostel at Ghazaband Scouts headquarters here Friday.
Adviser on Education Sardar Raza Muhammad Barech also spoke on the occasion. IG FC Major General Sher Afgun was also present.

He said we jointly struggled against difficulties and problems and put those burning national flags on journey to hoist them. FC was spending its energy and resources on promotion of education and its improvement besides improving law and order.
General Sher Afgun FC and Pakistan Army were imparting education to over 40 thousand children.
Sardar Raza Muhammad Barech said FC role in promotion of education is of great significance. Educational institution and technical institutions were faced with decline prior to present provincial government. We paid most attention on Education on priority. He cited increase of educator budget to 23 percent from previous 4 percent. He said during the past two and half years number of children has been increase to 2 million form one million. He said provincial government was taking serious measures for the promotion of education. Still there was much need to work in this sector with more resources.
It is our strive to provide pens to the students than kalashinkov so that they could work for the stability and equality of the country. He said our government, security forces and people being on one page have broken back of terrorists and those fighting against state yesterday were now raising our national flags today which are good sign. It is also our desire that those who left the way should come to right track. He said thanks Allah situation were now heading towards improvement.
