QUETTA: The Audit Committee comprising the officers of Education Department visited Sardar Ishaq Khan (SIK) Government High School Alamdar Road here the other day.
The officers including Ms. Halima Aiwaz Ali, Ramzan Mengal and others inspected the school funds and the educational facilities provided during the financial year 201-15.
The Audit Committee checked the audit register and other related things during the inspection.
Moreover, they also inspected the science laboratory and the equipment and other facilities made available there.
The Senior Headmaster of SIK Government High School, Ghazanfar Ali Changezi briefed the visiting team about the overall working of the School besides the audit report including the detail of income and expenditures of the school.
He welcomed the team and hailed the decision of the Advisor to Chief Minister on Education, Secretary Secondary Education and other high ups regarding surprise visits of the educational institutions.
He also said that the education system would strengthen with these initiatives of the government. Particularly the inspection of audit would also help ensure transparency in the financial matters of the institutions.
The visiting team applauded the performance of Senior Headmaster and other staff of the SIK School.
Meanwhile, the Deputy Education Officer, Chiltan Town along with the inspection team visited the Government Middle High School and Zargkho and Government Primary School Muhammad Shahi Digari, and Government Primary School, Latifabad the other day.
He reviewed the attendance of the teachers and students in the schools there. He was dissatisfied with performance of the teachers in the schools. Particularly, he pointed out towards the incomplete syllabus.
He also got acquainted himself about the problems of the teaching staff.
He assured to resolve the issues, however, called on them (teachers) to impart quality education to the students.
For the purpose, he asked them to build their capacity.
