Community center set up at Basti Panchayat, says William Barkat

QUETTA: A community center has been established at the Basti Panchayat Colony located on Kasi Road, Quetta.
This was announced by the Minority Member of Provincial Assembly belonging to Pashtoonkhaw Milli Awami Party (PkMAP), William Barkat while talking to a delegation of the Christians’ elders of Christian Town, Samungli Road the other day.
The community center would serve as the hub of cultural and social activities for women of the community, William Barkat maintained.
He said that it is his earnest desire and endeavor to pay special attention towards the collective nature development projects so that the maximum population may benefit from them.
He said that the community halls are being established in different areas including Chaman, Muslim Bagh, Killa Saifullah, Ziarat, Harnai, Loralai for general get together of the people. He assured that effective steps would be taken for solution of the issues being faced by the minorities in the province.
A beautiful auditorium and a laboratory has been constructed in the Christian Hospital in Quetta, he mentioned.
All the development activities are being carried out with his development fund.
While he has been endeavouring to facilitate the minorities, he would continue to do so rather with more dedication in future, he assured.
