World First Aid Day to be observed on 12th

QUETTA: The World First Aid Day 2015 is being observed on September 12 in the provincial metropolis as elsewhere in the country and the world. This year, the main theme of the First Aid Day is “First aid and ageing population.”
A function marking the Day has been arranged by the Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) Balochistan on September 14 at the Balochistan Boy Scouts Association’s headquarters.
Nevertheless, it is a time to promote first aid knowledge and skills around the globe, to bring about the change we know is needed to enhance, expand and improve first aid training worldwide as an act of humanitarian empowerment and as a key component of a wider resilience approach.
The idea is to build a positive image of ageing and recognize older people as an important resource for society.
