Closed schools being made operational: Manzoor Kakar

QUETTA: Member Provincial Assembly belonging to Pashtoonkhaw Milli Awami Party (PkMAP), Manzoor Ahmed Kakar has stated that the present government is determined to bring improvement in the state of education.
He was addressing the inaugural ceremony of making the Mullah Haji Fazil Shah Primary School in Chashma Achozai, Baleli here the other day.
Those who attended the ceremony were included Secretary of Secondary Education, Abdul Saboor Khan Kakar, Chairman Quetta District Council, Asmatullah Khan Bazai, Chairman Union Council Baleli, Arbab Abdul Qadir Kasi, Ajadb Khan Advocate, Deputy Education Officer Chiltan Town, Gul Muhammad Kakar besides other concerned.
Manzoor Kakar said that education is right of every child. In view of educational backwardness, the provincial government allocated major chunk of its budget for education sector, he maintained.
He said that it is commendable to make the closed schools operational in the Chiltan Town. He said that while the government is focusing on education, the schools, which were closed in the past, are being opened now.
The MPA assured that the problems being faced by the Mullah Fazil Shah Primary School would be resolved.
All the necessary facilities would be provided in the school, he maintained.
He also assured wholehearted cooperation to the school administration in future. The offices serving the cause of education in the province with true spirit would be encouraged and motivated, he assured further.
Addressing the ceremony, the Secretary Education said that it is clear policy of the government not to tolerate any negligence and carelessness of part of the teachers, the officers and employees in education sector.
The irresponsible officers, teachers and other staff would not be spared at all, he warned.
He applauded the efforts of Chiltan Town officers for the cause of education and said that others should also follow them.
Abdul Saboor Kakar on the occasion directed to provide necessary facilities in the school. He stressed the need to educate people about the health issues as well. We could eradicate the disease of polio through education and awareness, he said.
