QUETTA: A meeting on the Health Reforms and the proposed draft law of Bolan University of Medical and Health Sciences was held with the Provincial Secretary Health, Noorul Haq Baloch was in the chair the other day.
Those who were in attendance were included: Principal of Bolan Medical College (BMC) Quetta, Professor Dr. Shabbir Ahmed Lehir, Director of Institute of Public Health (IPH), Dr. Sikandar Riaz, Head of Gynecology Department, Professor Dr. Nayla Ehsan, Head of Dental Section, BMC, Professor Dr. Syed Rauf Shah, Professor Dr. Manzoor Ahmed, Head of Nephrology, Professor Dr. Karim Zarkoon, Head of Psychiatry, Professor Dr. Ghulam Rasool, Vice Principal of BMC, Dr. Khan Muhammad Babar besides other concerned.
The meeting discussed various matters pertaining to improvement in the Medical teaching Institute and the hospitals associated with it, provision of quality healthcare services for the people, besides various aspects of the draft act of the Bolan University of Medical and Health Sciences, etc.
The Secretary Health reviewed the progress on different related matters.
He thanked all the faculty members and other concerned for their participation and input on certain issues.
He also pledged to continue work on different projects with the same spirit.
