Agri. Farm Managers urged to improve performance

QUETTA: The Secretary Agriculture, Abdul Rehman Buzdar has directed to the Agriculture Farm Managers to bring improvement in their performance.
He was chairing a meeting of the Farm Managers here the other day. Those who were in attendance were included: Director General Agriculture (Extension) Yar Muhammad Pindrani, Director General Agriculture Research Institute, Dr. Javed Tareen, Additional Secretary Agriculture, Muhammad Nadeem Samalani besides the Farm Managers.
The overall performance of the Agriculture Farms operating all over the province was reviewed in detail.
The Secretary Agriculture directed to the Farm Managers to mobilize all available resources to improve performance of their respective Farms.
He on the occasion mentioned that the exhibitory plots have been set up in the Farms for production of high quality seeds.
He regretfully pointed out that nothing was done for improvement of Agriculture Farms in the past, but no negligence would be tolerated in this regard now.
He stressed that it is our responsibility to achieve the desired targets set for the farms so every one should strive to do so working wholeheartedly.
He directed to take steps for facilitation of the farmers and other growers so that they may increase their production.
The Secretary Agriculture warned that stern action would be taken against those Farm Mangers not discharging their duties well.
He expressed his anguish over absence of a few Farm Managers and directed to take action against them.
He on the occasion also applauded the efforts of Rasheed Pindrani of Seed Farm Usta Muhammad for the cause of agriculture.
