Ladies Pardah Club hosts farewell party for wife of Commander SC

QUETTA: A farewell party was arranged in honour of the wife of Commander Southern Command here at the Ladies Pardah Club the other day.
The party was also attended by the wife of Chief Minister Balochistan besides the members of the Ladies Pardah Club and other dignitaries.
Different activities were also held marking the Defence Day of Pakistan. As part of the activities, the puzzle of the pictures of the heroes of the armed forces was also held. Mrs. Naheed Shams stood first in the competition while Mrs. Brigadier Saeed remained second in the competition.
Speaking on the occasion, wife of the Commander Southern Command thanked the organizers for arranging reception for her. She said that it is really an honour for her to attend the gathering in Ladies Pardah Club where the Begum Raana Liaquat Ali Khan, and other celebrities visited and were honoured. She said that the people of Balochistan are peace loving. They want development and prosperity of the province, she maintained.
