Meeting on draft law of Prevention and Control of Thalassaemia Bill

QUETTA: A meeting of the Standing Committee of Balochistan Assembly for Public Health and Population Welfare was held to discuss the proposed draft law of the Balochistan Prevention and Control of Thalassaemia Bill 2015.with its chairperson, Dr. Ruqaya Saeed Hashmi in the chair the other day.
However, the meeting was postponed till September 21, 2015. An official hand out issued here mentioned that the meeting was postponed due to some unavoidable reasons.
While on the other hand, all concerned members of the Standing Committee have been asked to ensure their presence in the meeting.
Meanwhile, the chairman of the Standing Committee for Mines, Mineral Development, Industries, Labour and Manpower, Sardar Dur Muhammad Nasser has convened the meeting of the committee at 11:00 AM today (Thursday) in the committee room of the provincial assembly.
According to an official hand out issued here by the Provincial Assembly secretariat, the meeting is expected to be attended by: Provincial Minister for Labour and Manpower Mir Sarfraz Domki, Mir Fateh Muhammad Buledi, Akbar Askani, Manzoor Ahmed Kakar, Ms. Arifa Siddique and Ghansham Das, besides the Secretaries of the concerned departments.
