Cattle market inaugurated at Poultry Farm Brewery

QUETTA: The Mayor of Quetta Metropolitan Corporation (QMC), Dr. Kalimullah Khan inaugurated the cattle market for the sacrificial animals at the Government Poultry Farm, Brewery Road the other day.
Provincial Secretary for Livestock and Dairy Development, Muhammad Siddique Mandokhail and Director Research, Livestock Department, Dr. Baig Muhammad Kakar were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, the Mayor appreciated the efforts of Livestock department for setting up of the cattle market and thanked the Secretary Livestock and other concerned in this regard. They contributed a lot in setting up of the cattle market in Quetta, so their contribution is commendable, he added.
He said that it is welcoming to provide healthy sacrificial animals to the people on eve of the Eidul Azha.
He pointed out that the people are facing the issues of price hike and health, therefore, it would help provide necessary relief to the people, he said.
Dr. Kalimullah urged the Livestock high ups to run the cattle market effectively till the Eidul Azha and make it a successful.
On the occasion, the Mayor assured wholehearted cooperation to them on behalf of the Metropolitan Corporation.
