QUETTA: Different delegations and individuals from various walks of life including Opposition Leader in Balochistan Assembly, Maulana Abdul Wasey and provincial ministers and tribal personalities called on the acting Governor, Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo here.
During the meeting with acting Governor, the Opposition Leader pointed out towards the incident of kidnapping of Haji Asmatullah and other persons kidnapped from Killa Saifullah district.
The acting Governor on the occasion said that it is responsibility of the government to ensure protection of the life and property of the masses.
He said that the sincere and effective steps would be taken for safety of the people in the province.
The acting Governor assured that wholehearted efforts would be made for prevention of the incident of kidnappings and crimes.
He also assured to play his part in recovery of those kidnapped.
Moreover, a delegation of the members provincial assembly comprising Nasarullah Khan Zairay, Dur Muhammad Nasser and Mir Abdul Karim Nausherwani called on Mir Abdul Quddus Bizenjo and greeted him on taking charge of the acting Governor Balochistan.
Also had a meeting with the acting Governor, a delegation from Chaghai under leadership of MPA Mir Amanullah Khan Notezai.
The tribal elder Yousaf Notezai was also among those who met the acting Governor. He and members of other delegations discussed the acting Governor the matters of mutual interest.
While talking to the delegations, the acting Governor said that the provincial government is continuing struggle for development of the province and prosperity of its people.
He said that the initiatives taken and being taken for development of the province are bearing fruits.
Mir Abdul Quddos Bizenjo also said that improvement could be witnessed in education, health, law and order and other sectors of the province.
The government has tackled certain challenges being faced by the province with determination, he commended.
