Retired and deceased professors of GC Quetta honoured

QUETTA: A ceremony was arranged to honour the deceased and retired professors of the Government College Quetta in the College’s premises the other day.
The Provincial Secretary for Colleges, Higher and Technical Education, Ghulam Muhammad Sabir was the chief guest.
Also attended the ceremony was by the Director Colleges, Ghulam Hussain Sarparah, Additional Secretary Colleges, Muhammad Hayat, Principal of the College, Professor Muhammad Hasan, Deputy Directors besides the retired professors as well as the family members of the deceased professors and the college’s faculty members and staff.
Speaking on the occasion, the Secretary Colleges appreciated the services of the retired and deceased professors of the college.
He praised the role of Principal of the Government College in improving its performance and making it more effective.
He also spoke about the role of teachers in grooming of the students and formation of the constructive society.
He said that the society is looking for the positive role of teachers for its reformation.
The College’s Principal thanked the Secretary Colleges and other participants for their participation in the get-to-gather.
Commemorative shields were also given to the retired professors and the family members of the deceased professors.
Meanwhile, the Secretary and others went round of different sections of the college. During the visit, Professor Hasan briefed them about the issues being faced by the college.
