Reference against former Health Secretary, NEF incharge filed

QUETTA Sep 23 (PPI): National Accountability Bureau Balochistan has filed two separate references each against former Health Secretary Balochistan and district incharge of the National Education Foundation (NEF) with Accountability Court Quetta.
Both the accused, collectively caused Rs 12.6 million loss to the national exchequer by misuse of the authority and committing corruption.
Jalal Khan, Former Secretary Health Balochistan in connivance with sub-ordinates had purchased Dialysis machine for Bolan Medical College hospital on exorbitant prizes.
Due to the misuse of power and corrupt practice the accused caused loss to the tune of Rs 10,293,539 to national kitty.
Nab Balochistan after thorough investigation into the scam, filed reference against the accused.
Likewise, in another case of fraud, Nab unveiled that accused Ghafar Shah, district incharge of National Education Foundation misappropriated Rs 24,00,000.
He frequently drew salaries of foundation’s schools ghost teachers in district Pishin, Ziarat, Kila Abdullah, Kila Saifullah, and Zhob for about six months.
Nab Balochistan with sufficient evidence against the accused filed reference with the Accountability Court.
