BMA central committee grieved over death of Dr. Faiz Hashmi

QUETTA: The central committee of Balochistan Medical Association (BMA) has expressed its deep grief and sorrow over the death of its senior member and the human rights activist, Dr. Faiz Hashmi.
In a condolence meeting, which was attended by the office bearers of BMA including Dr. Mehboob Ali, Dr. Changez Gichki, Dr. Shamsul Haq, Dr. Shah Nawaz, Dr. Muhammad Ilyas, Dr. Shah Muhammad Kakar, Dr. Barkat Ali Jamali, Dr. Ashraf Ali Bugti and others, the death of Dr. Faiz Hashmi was condoled.
The participants paid tributes to Dr. Faiz Hashmi for the valuable services he rendered for the cause of solution of the problems faced by the doctors’ community in the province. Dr. Faiz Hashmi always remained on the forefront to resolve the issues of the doctors, the participants commended.
They also said that the late Hashmi was a thorough gentleman having the political and social insight besides the vast experience in the medical profession.
The BMA central committee offered fateha for the departed soul of Dr. Faiz Hashmi praying that may Allah Almighty rest the departed soul into Its eternal peace and give enough strength and patience to the bereaved family members to bear the tragic loss.
Dr. Faiz Hashmi breathed his last in Bolan Medical Complex Hospital a couple of days back where he was undergoing treatment for treatment of the multiple diseases.
Dr. Faiz Hashmi while served on different positions in the health sector of Balochistan, he was also a senior member of the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP).
He remained instrumental in highlighting the cause of human rights in the province and other parts of the country.
