Special arrangements made for cleanliness on eve of Eidul Azha

QUETTA: The Quetta Metropolitan Corporation (QMC) has claimed to make special arrangements for cleanliness particularly for removal of the remains and offal of the sacrificial animals in the provincial metropolis.
All the sanitary and other concerned staff has been made high alert ahead of the Eidul Azha, said the sources of QMC here the other day.
The Mayor of the QMC, Dr. Kalimullah Khan and Deputy Mayor, Muhammad Younas Baloch are personally supervising the arrangements made in this regard.
The teams have been formed to collect the remains of the sacrificial animals and other garbage in different parts of the city on all the three days of Eidul Azha and afterwards.
A special cell has also been set up in the Metropolitan Corporation. While on the other hand, the vehicles would also lift the remains of the sacrificial animals and other garbage in the metropolis.
No negligence and leniency would be tolerated on part of the concerned staff whatsoever, the QMC high ups asserted.
The staff to be absent from their duties would also be dealt with sternly, it was further warned.
The general public was also urged to take well care of the cleanliness in their surrounding areas as it is our collective responsibility as well to keep our city clean.
