QMC urged to take stern action against violation of building code

QUETTA: The senior member of the Quetta Chamber of Commerce and Industry and former Naib Nazim of Union Council, Abdul Jabbar Khilji has demanded of the concerned authorities to take strict action against violation of the building code in the provincial metropolis.
In a statement issued here, Khilji regretfully pointed out that open violation of the building code is continued in the metropolis.
He also pointed out that construction of the high rise buildings remained continued in the public holidays of Eidul Azha under a pre-planned conspiracy.
The Quetta Metropolitan Corporation should take immediate notice of the situation and take action against those violating the ban already imposed on construction of high rise building in Quetta city, he pleaded.
If an immediate notice was not taken then we would approach the court of law, he said.
