QUETTA: The provincial government is determined to make the Local Bodies (LB) institutions more effective and provide them the necessary funds for carrying our different activities.
This and similar views were expressed by the central Deputy Secretary of Pashtoonkhaw Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) and Advisor to Chief Minister for Livestock, Forests and Wildlife, Ubaidullah Jan Babat while addressing the district council members belonging to the Party at the Loralai district assembly the other day.
The Chairman District Council, Shams Hamzazai, Deputy Chairman, Ahmed Jan Nasser Advocate, district Secretary of PkMAP, Akhtar Shah Kadezai, Chief Officer and other concerned staff were also present on the occasion.
The members of the District Council apprised the Chief Minister about their issues.
He said that we want to resolve the basic issues being faced by the masses at their doorstep. For the purpose, the Local Bodies institutions would be made more effective by providing them the necessary funds.
Ubaidullah Jan Babat on the occasion said that the LB institutions play important role in resolving the issues of the masses.
We would not be sitting at ease until and unless the LB institutions are made effective and provided funds to resolve the issues, he pledged.
The Advisor to Chief Minister said that the provincial government has fulfilled the longstanding demand of the masses by conducting the LB polls.
While we fulfilled that promise, so we would also be fulfilling other demands of the masses in future, he maintained.
He also assured that the provincial government would not disappoint the people at all.
