United Club wins Mini Olympic Games Throw Ball final

QUETTA: The United Club won final of the Balochistan Mini Olympic Games Throw Ball played at the Mir Ghous Bakhsh Bizenjo Hall here the other day.
In final United Club defeated Burki Club.
Director Sports, Nazar Muhammad Baloch was the chief guest while Atta Muhammad Kakar (TI) presided over the event.
Also present on the occasion were the senior official of Balochistan Sports Board, Syed Naeem Akhtar, besides others.
The Jury was comprised Manzoor Sarparah and Habibur Rehman.
Speaking on the occasion, Director Sports applauded the efforts of Atta Muhammad Kakar for organizing the Mini Olympic Games in the province. The mega event is playing its part for promotion of sports in the province, he commended.
He hoped that the competitions would remain continued in future as well with the same spirit. He also said that youth of the province are getting the desired opportunities of sports thanks to the Mini Olympic Games.
Atta Muhammad Kakar said that it is just like a jehad to promote sports and motivate youth to participate in them. He said that it is our collective responsibility to promote sports, he stressed.
