Emergency declared in hospitals following train accidents

QUETTA: In wake of the fatal train accident in Bolan, an emergency was declared in all the public sector hospitals of Quetta on Tuesday.
The Provincial Health Minister, Mir Rehman Baloch issued necessary directives to the concerned authorities to take all necessary measures for provision of medical treatment to the injured of the Jaffar Express accident.
He told the media that every injured of the train accident would be provided all possible treatment facilities in Quetta.
In this regard, an emergency has been declared in the hospital including Sandeman Provincial Headquarter Hospital and Bolan Medical Complex Hospital and additional doctors and medical staff have been called to treat the injured.
We would ensure provision of medical facilities to the injured of tragic train accident in Bolan area, Mir Rehmat Saleh Baloch maintained.
It may be mentioned here that some 150 passengers were injured in the train accident. Some 13 persons including train driver, his assistant had lost their lives in the accident.
Meanwhile, the Provincial Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports, Mir Mujeebur Rehman Muhammad Hassani along with Advisor to Chief Minister for Forests and Wildlife, Ubaidullah Babat visited the Sandeman Provincial Headquarter Hospital. They inquired about health of the injured passengers of the train.
Secretary Health, Noorul Haq Baloch also visited the Sandeman Hospital and reviewed the treatment facilities being provided to the injured.
He also directed to the Medical Superintendent and other concerned to ensure speedy treatment to the injured.
