WDD organizes seminar on women

QUETTA: The Women Development Department (WDD) organized a seminar on women issues here the other day.
The eminent social activist and philanthropist, Mrs. Surriya Allahdin was the chief guest.
Those prominent among participants were included Secretary Women Development, Hashim Nadeem, former senior bureaucrat, Sarwar Javed, Director Women Development, Ms. Jahan Ara Tabassum besides others.
Addressing the ceremony, Mrs. Allahdin said that there is a very important role of women in formation of an educated and healthy society.
No society is complete without women, she maintained. However, there is a dire need to educate the womenfolk about their rights as they lack awareness about it, she stressed.
