Balochistan Children Sports Festival held

QUETTA: The sports competitions of boxing, basketball, tug of war and marathon race were held in connection with the 20th Children Sports Festival here the other day.
According to a press release issued here, Muhammad Sadiq Khilji was the chief guest while the sports organizer, Atta Muhammad Kakar (Pride of Performance) presided over.
The Chief Jury was comprised Assistant Director Sports, Manzoor Ahmed Kakar, Muhammad Younas, Nadir Khilji and Syed Shafat Ali.
As per the results of boxing competition, Ehsanullah, Jan Sher Kakar, Jalaluddin, Kamaluddin, Muhammad Asif, Muhammad Mohsin and Muhammad Tayyab stood first in different weight categories.
In marathon race organized from Railway hockey chowk to Spinny road, Ali Nawaz Mengal stood first while Muhammad Waqas and Abdul Wahid secured second and third positions respectively.
The participants applauded the efforts of Atta Muhammad Kakar for organizing different sports activities from time to time. He is doing an excellent job by engaging the youth in healthy activities, they commended.
They particularly praised Atta Kakar for organizing the Children Sports Festival in which large number of children has taken part.
