QUETTA: The Director National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Balochistan, Abdul Hafeez Siddiqui has stressed the need to make joint efforts for curbing the menace of corruption from the society.
All segments of the society would have to join hands with the NAB to eliminate corruption, stated the Director NAB while addressing a ceremony held in connection with the speech contest at the Government Gils Degree College, Jinnah Town, here the other day.
The Directorate of Colleges and Higher Education organized the contest in collaboration with the NAB.
Deputy Director, Colleges, Abdul Wahid Kakar, Principal of the Government Girls College, Jinnah Town, Professor Ms. Noor Jehan Khetran, Deputy Director NAB, Muhammad Mazhar Javed and others.
Mr. Siddiqui on the occasion also stressed that everyone has to mend one’s way of thinking.
Is it not responsibility of teacher to educate and guide one’s students rightly, or for that matter, follow the duty time and make it aim of life to earn Halal livelihood? he questioned.
Moreover, does it suit to a doctor to fleece the poor patients negating one’s oath after becoming doctor? he maintained.
He said that it is not only responsibility of NAB to purge corruption, rather it is duty of every one who owns this country for our forefathers rendered great sacrifices.
He also said that the pledge made by the students against the evil of corruption today would guarantee our bright future.
In the end, the prizes were distributed among the successful male and female students.
