NAB’s Islamic calligraphy exhibition continues at Idara-e-Saqafat

QUETTA: The exhibition of Islamic calligraphy is continued at the Idara-e-Saqafat Balochistan here.
The exhibition has been arranged by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Balochistan.
The verses of Qura’an revealed on the theme of corruption have been focused in the calligraphy. It may be mentioned here that the exhibition displays the rare artwork of the prominent calligraphers of the country including Balochistan.
Basically, the exhibition was a follow-up of the calligraphic competition earlier organized by NAB at the Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences (BUITEMS) last week.
Governor, Muhammad Khan Achakzai was chief guest at the competition. Director General NAB, Major (Retd) Tariq Mehmood Malik, Inspector General of Police, Vice Chancellor of BUITEMS, besides others also participated in the ceremony. Over 50 calligraphers have taken part in the competition.
Prominent among them are included: Tasneem Inam, Shaban Nazir, Gulzar Ahmed Butt, Ajab Khan, Resham Khan, Nisar Ahmed, Farooq Ahmed, Abdul Rehman Tabani and Jamal Mohsin.
The exhibition would remain continued till December 02, 2015.
Needless to mention here is that the Governor and other guests had appreciated the calligraphic exhibition held under the auspices of NAB Balochistan.
