BHA to organize tourney for preparations of 62nd Sr. National Hockey Championship

QUETTA: Balochistan Hockey Association (BHA) has decided to hold a tournament as part of the preparations of the forthcoming 62nd Senior National Hockey Championship in Quetta.
This was announced by the General Secretary of BHA, Amjad Satti in a statement issued here the other day.
According to the General Secretary BHA, the aforementioned hockey tournament would be started from December 9 at the Ayub Stadium’s hockey ground.
As many as six teams would take part in the tournament, Amjad Satti maintained. Draws of the tournament would be taken out on December 8 at the same ground.
The teams participating in the tournament are included: Postal Hockey Club, Quetta Youth Club, Naeem Hockey Club, Young Naeem Hockey Club, Abdul Manan Hockey Club and Central Hockey Club.
In all 36 hockey players would be shortlisted from the participating hockey teams in the tournament. The shortlisted players would participate in the training camp to be set up for the preparations in connection with the senior National Hockey Championship to be staged in Karachi.
Afterwards (at end of the training camp), altogether 16 players would be selected to represent the province in the championship, maintained the General Secretary of BHA.
Meanwhile, Amjad Satti has appealed to the managers of the participating teams to contact with him for ensuring participation of their teams.
