Blankets donated by AWT distributed among poor and needy people

QUETTA: In all 2,000 blankets were distributed among the poor and deserving persons belonging to various areas of the province including Quetta.
The distribution of the blankets, which were actually donated by the Aalamgir Welfare Trust (AWT) International, has been made through the Idara Behbud-e-Umar Raseeda located on Samungli road, Quetta.
Meanwhile, Brigadier ® Abdul Razzaq Baloch, who actually runs the affairs of the Idara, has thanked the AWT International for the donation.
He mentioned that a branch of the Trust would be opened soon in Quetta, which would help the poor and needy effectively.
The Idara has made necessary preparations ahead of opening of the branch of AWT so as to provide the basic facilities once it is opened.
Currently, the free of cost accommodation, food, medical facilities and training is being provided to the aged women settled in the Old Age Home established in Quetta.
