Collective efforts needed to eliminate narcotics

QUETTA: Deputy Mayor of Quetta Metropolitan Corporation (QMC), Muhammad Younas Baloch has stressed the need to make collective efforts for elimination of the curse of narcotics.
This, he stated during his visit to the Aaghosh Trust established for treatment and rehabilitation of the drug addicts the other day. The President of Aaghosh Trust, Syed Akbar Shah and psychiatrist, Sharafuddin were also present. They briefed the visiting Deputy Mayor about functioning of the Trust.
Younas Baloch said that the curse of narcotics is affecting the younger generation. He appreciated the good work being done by the Trust saying that it is nice to see the drug addicts being treated and rehabilitated.
We could make them useful citizens through their rehabilitation, he said adding he assured full cooperation to the Trust in its good cause.
