QUETTA: Deputy Mayor of Quetta Metropolitan Corporation (QMC), Muhammad Younas Baloch has expressed the hope that the peace, brotherhood and harmony would be promoted in Balochistan during the rule of Nawab Sanaullah Zehri, who has been nominated as new Chief Minister.
In a statement issued here, the Deputy Mayor also hoped that there would be much progress in development sector once Nawab Sanaullah Zehri takes over as the Chief Minister Balochistan.
He also hoped that Nawaz Zehri led provincial government would pay special attention towards the issues being faced by local bodies institutions in the province.
He said that if the administrative and financial powers would have been transferred to the local bodies then the situation was different than now.
He stressed the need to make the local bodies institutions more effective. He said that the new government would empower the local bodies after approving the summary of transferring powers to them.
It would surely help benefit the common men, maintaining he believed.
