Valley receives light rain, snow over hills

QUETTA Jan 3 (HQ): Quetta Valley and other parts of Balochistan re in grip of light intermittent rain while mountains surrounding Quetta and Ziarat received snowfall Sunday.
According to details light intermittent rain started early during the day and continues intermittently till late at night. Three milimetres of rain were recorded. Mountains surrounding Quetta and Ziarat Valleys also received snow.
Reports of rainfall have also received form Chaman, Khanozai, Killa Saifullah, Zhob.
Light rain made the weather pleasant but later it was turned cool.
In Quetta minimum temperature recorded today was 5.4 Celsius and maximum 17.5 Celsius.
Met office has predicted partly cloudy weather with chances of thunderstorm rain.
In Kalat Minimum temperature recorded today was minus 4Celsius while there was no gas pressure and people shivered under freezing cold.
