Tree plantation to help beautify Quetta city: Secretary Forests

QUETTA: The Secretary Forests and Wildlife Department, Ghulam Muhammad Sabir has categorically stated that the Spring Tree Plantation Campaign would contribute a lot in beautification of Quetta city.
He said that we could restored the beauty of Quetta through plantation of trees, so we have to take wholehearted part in it.
It is our collective responsibility to keep the environment clean and surely the trees can make a good contribution in it, adding he stressed.
That’s why, the Forests Department has planned to launch Tree Plantation Campaign in the province like the past, he mentioned adding that the saplings would be planted on the important highways and in the official as well as the courts’ buildings.
He said that all available resources would be mobilized to make the campaign successful.
Special teams of the Department have also been formed to take well care of the trees planted and being planted in the Spring Plantation Campaign, the Secretary added.
He said that the maximum attention would be paid on the areas, which otherwise neglected or overlooked in the past.
He pledged to supervise the Plantation Campaign this time. He also appealed to the general public to take wholehearted part in the campaign.
