BA adopts resolution on transmission lines

QUETTA Apr 4 (PPI): Balochistan Assembly has recommended that federal government should direct NTDC and Ministry of Water and Power to immediately complete Dadu-Khuzdar and DG Khan-Loralai transmission lines to meet 725 mega watts supply.
The recommendation contained in a resolution adopted by House here Monday. Resolution was moved by Abdul Rahim Ziaratwal, Obedullah Babat, Nasrullah Zeray all form PMAP.
It said federal government started work on Dadu-Khuzdar and DG Khan-Loralai transmission lines to increase supply and consumption of electricity in Balochistan. At the completion of these transmission lines a total fo 725 mw additional supply was to be provided to Balochistan. Major work has been completed on these lines and NTDC deadline has also passed but supply of electricity being provided from these lines is 200 to 350 mw which is quite short of quantity set by NTDC.
Abdul Majeed Achakzai, Agha Liaqat Ali, Obedullah Babat, Nasrullah Zeray (PMAP), Abdul Rehman Khetran (JUI), Muhammad Khan Lehri (PML-N), Shaikh Jaffar Mandokhel Muslim League) also spoke on the resolution.
