2 killed, 4 injured in bomb explosion

Two passengers were killed, four injured seriously and a bogey damaged in an explosion along the track of Jaffar Express coming to Quetta form Lahore near here Tuesday.
According to details a bomb planted along Jacobabad-Sibi section of Pakistan railways exploded between Mithri and Dingra stations some 24 Km form Sibi today. At that time Quetta bound Jaffar Express train was passing. Explosion was heard at distance. Two feet piece of the track was blown. A bogey was derailed. As a result tow passengers Mahbub Ali and another died instantly. Muhammad Ibrahim, Karim Dad, Irfan Ali and Zulfiqar sustained serious injuries.
On information of explosion an emergency was sounded at the civil hospital Sibi. Commandant Sibi Scouts Col Ahmed Raza, Police and levies rushed ot the scene. Area was cordoned and injured were shifted to civil hospital Sibi.
Due to explosion along the track Akbar Bugti Express from Lahore, Bolan Express were stopped at Jacobabad and Dera Allah Yar stations. Passenger trains from Quetta were stopped at Quetta and mach.
Railways officials started repair of track on emergency basis and security was heightened at Quetta, mach, Sibi, Bakhtiarabad, Dera Murad Jamali and Dera Allah Yar stations.
Meanwhile social and political circles have demanded that private channels continued to air reports of rocket attack on the train or explosion inside the train and much loss of human lives which created fear in and around Sibi. They asked journalists to report responsibly.
