IGP visits Ashura procession route

QUETTA Oct 11 (PPI): Inspector General Balochistan Police Ahsan Mahbub inspected Ashura procession route here Tuesday. He was accompanied by Secretary Home Dr Muhammad Akbar Harifal, DIG Quetta Abdul Razzaq Cheema and other senior officers. They reviewed arrangements made for the security of the procession.
They also reviewed security at Punjabi Imam Bargah, Imam Bargah Nasirul Aza and other imam Bargahs where Incharge police officers briefed them.
IGP and others expressed satisfaction over security arrangements.
Meanwhile Secretary Home Dr Akbar Harifal visited Civil Defence Directorate here today. He said accompanied by Director General Levies Balochistan Saleh Nasir.
Director Civil Defence Ahmed Ali briefed him on security measures adopted by the civil defence and deployment of bomb disposal squad members.
Secretary Home expressed satisfaction over the arrangements.
