QUETTA Nov 9 (PPI): Urdu is language of coordination of all provinces of Pakistan and people living in remote areas. It is our joint national duty we should fully struggle for enforcement of Urdu at the offices, court, educational institutions and other levels.
These views were expressed by former Judge Supreme Court of Pakistan Justice Jawad S Khwaja while speaking with a delegation which called on him under the leadership of Abdul Qayyum Kakar and Haji Gul Muhammad Yasinzai.
Abdul Qayyum Kakar told Justice Jawad Khwaja that Balochistan High Court launched its Urdu website following Supreme Court verdict of declaring Urdu as official and judicial language while Chief Secretary’s special interest and monitoring official work was being done in Urdu language in some departments. This has been welcomed by political, social, civil society and Journalists.
Justice Jawad Khwaja said for promotion of national language people in four provinces should play their role while envisioned and patriotic people from all walks of life should play their role for according Urdu its status as official language under Article 251 of constitution rising above all ethnic prejudice and professional affiliation.
