3-day Media Training Workshop concludes at BUITEMS

QUETTA Dec 16 (PPI): Dream of developed Balochistan cannot be materialized without educational development. It is responsibility of journalists alongside of government to make investigative reporting for raise in literacy rate, new colleges and universities for girls and developing awareness among citizens about ghost teachers and educational institutions away from routine reporting.

These views were expressed by Chairperson Mass Communications Department of Balochistan University of Information Technology, Engineering and Management Sciences (BUITEMS) Mohtarma Sumera Zakir, President Quetta Press Club Shahzada Zulfiqar and Station director Radio Pakistan Quetta Sohail Khattak at the closing of three day Media Training workshop held at BUITEMS here Friday.

Participants thanked BUITEMS Management and Internews for organizing successful training session on principles of investigative reporting in education sector and expressed hope that they would continue to organise such training sessions for journalists of Balochistan.

Certificates were distributed among the participants at the closing session.
